Cranbrook Academy of Art

2020 Graduate Exhibition at Wasserman Projects

Thanks to the generous support of Beth Redmond, and in collaboration with Wasserman Projects in Detroit, we can bring your 2020 Graduate Exhibition to life! This is an opportunity to have an in-person exhibition of your work in Detroit. Participation is not required, but strongly encouraged.

For those of you unfamiliar with Wasserman Projects - it is a contemporary art space that helps artists bring to fruition and share new projects that inspire discourse on art and issues that are particularly active and timely in Detroit. Founded by Gary Wasserman, a Life Governor of the Board of Governors of Cranbrook Academy of Art and Art Museum, it is run by Director + Curator, Alison Wong (Academy alumna, Painting 2006). Wasserman Projects promotes contemporary artists from around the world, including alumni of Cranbrook Academy of Art.

This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience working with a commercial gallery. You will also have the option to sell your work during the exhibition.
Work previously exhibited at Wasserman Projects will not be considered. Contact Elizabeth Dizik, edizik@cranbrook.edu with any questions.
